4.1. Biological theories

The biological theories are based on the approach that aggression is biologically pre-programmed in our genes and there is sometimes a belief that aggression plays a positive role in enhancing our survival. Aggression contributes to sexual selection and competition.[1] and a positive form of aggression arises from the need to influence others (proactive aggression). It corresponds also to Darwin´s theory of evolution.
