2. The aims and objectives of classes
The aim of the workshop is to familiarize medical students with the basic techniques, strategies and tactics of negotiating a doctor with a difficult patient, taking into account the wide range of the patient's needs (physical, emotional, social and spiritual). The basic principles of negotiation in a difficult communication / doctor-patient situation are discussed, types of communication errors, process, conversations, dilemmas and ways to avoid them, as well as the meaning of non-verbal messages in the broad context of the patient's needs.
During the workshops, with the use of negotiation methods and games, the medical student acquires the ability to effectively formulate messages and the meaning of the context in the reception of the message. The result of the course should be the ability to resolve disputes using techniques, strategies and negotiation tactics with respect for human rights.
