4.6. Using games in the process of teaching future negotiators
Negotiation phases - Negotiation is a process of four main steps leading to an agreement between the parties. It is worthwhile to understand what these stages are and discuss them in order to better understand the course of the negotiations.
The division into phases will allow you to become aware of how to conduct possible conversations between a doctor / a difficult patient and how to recognise possible mistakes, if we make any. This training is dedicated to doctors who work with a difficult patient on a daily basis and want to deal effectively with difficult situations. The training consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical knowledge and building internal self-confidence based on strengths, strengthening the ability to act despite difficulties and dealing with disturbing emotions. In the second, we place emphasis on the ability to build relationships with the patient and assertive expression in situations of pressure and stress in professional situations.
The training will improve the ability to express empathic messages and behaviours in the doctor / patient relationship, so as to create the professionalism of the entire organisation based on negotiation tactics and techniques.
